劇情簡介 Synopsis

上世紀三十年代的山東高密民風剽悍、遍地高粱，卻土匪橫行、民不聊生。行伍出身的鐵腕強人朱豪三臨危履職出任縣長，決意不擇手段肅清當地匪患。十九歲的少女九兒出生于破落的地主之家，被嗜賭的父親賣給大戶單廷秀患有麻風病的兒子單扁郎當媳婦。為了逃婚，九兒與青梅竹馬的鎮長兒子張俊傑約好一起私奔。不料消息洩露，九兒被土匪花脖子抓上山。給土匪送糧的餘占鼇無法忘記與九兒的一面之緣，下山給縣長朱豪三報信，自己冒死救出九兒。九兒誤會俊傑洩密與他決裂，含恨下嫁單家。婚後回門途中，九兒被余占鼇扛進了高粱地成了他的女人。

七七事變爆發，日軍進佔山東。內憂外患之際，九兒為掩護余占鼇隊伍，將日軍引到高粱地，點燃紅高粱，與敵人同歸於盡，用自己的生命在這片充滿生命力的山東高密大地上譜寫了一段關於愛與恨、野心和意志的傳奇故事。

In 1930s, Shandong Gaomi sorghum is everywhere and banditry rampant. Mayor Zhu Haosan determined to root out banditry. A 19 years old girl, Jiu Er was born in the impoverished landlord family. Her father who addicted in gambling sold Jiu Er to a rich family. However, their son, Shan Bianlang suffered from leprosy.

To flee from forced marriage, Jiu Er and the son of Mayor Zhang Junjie promise to elope. Unfortunately, their promise was leaked out, bandits caught Jiu Er. Yu Zhanao who provided food to bandits met Jiu Er there. He fell in love with Jiu Er at first sight and rescued Jiu Er finally. Jiu Er misunderstand Junjie broke the promise and leaked out the elope message, she married to Shan Bianlang with enmity.

After the Marco Polo Bridge Incident, Japanese invaded in ShangDong. Jiu Er wanted to protect Yu Zhanao team from Japanese. She led Japanese to sorghum field, set it on fire. She and the Japanese troops perished together eventually.

Jiu Er’s legend happened in Gaomi, a land which is full of vitality sorghum. She lived her life in love, hate, ambition and volition.
