The Seven Swordsmen
In 1643, after the Qing army took power, they banned martial arts and hunted down fighters. Three swordsmen from Tianshan asked Monk Huiming for help to save the people. The monk sent his four students and the three swordsmen—seven heroes in total—to join the "Red Spear Society" and fight back. When their mission was discovered, the seven had to split up and promised to meet again by the Qiantang River the next Mid-Autumn Festival.

The entanglements among the Hu, Miao, Fan, and Tian families all originate from a legend: After the failed uprising of Li Chuangwang (Li Zicheng) at the end of the Ming dynasty, he left behind a treasure containing the riches of the world. The keys to this treasure were each entrusted to one of his four guardians—Hu, Miao, Fan, and Tian. Because of the treasure’s immense allure, both the martial world and the imperial court have never ceased their pursuit of these four families and their descendants.

Guided by the Bodhisattva, Tang Xuanzang receives the Tang Emperor’s decree to travel west to obtain the scriptures. Along the way, he frees the Great Sage Equal to Heaven, naming him Sun Wukong; later, at Gao Village, he meets Zhu Bajie. The trio then reach the River of Flowing Sand and encounter Sha Wujing. With three disciples gathered, master and disciples set out for the Western Heaven. After facing 81 ordeals, they obtain the true scriptures and attain enlightenment.
My Fair Princess series

The story follows Xia Ziwei, the daughter of Emperor Qianlong, who travels to Beijing to reunite with her long-lost father. When she runs out of options, she meets an orphaned street thief named Xiaoyanzi, and the two become sworn sisters. Trying to help Ziwei enter the palace, Xiaoyanzi accidentally ends up taking Ziwei’s place and, by a twist of fate, is mistaken for the emperor’s daughter. As a result, Xiaoyanzi becomes the “Princess Pearl” and quickly wins the emperor’s favor.
